Call His Name!

Is it over? Is it over for YOU?

Today, for some, the Christmas tree will come down, all the decorations will be put away, “normal” will resume.

Others like to keep the Christmas spirit alive through New Year’s, making the vacation and the holiday festivities last as long as possible!

Still there are others, (you know who you are!) that keep their Christmas lights up year around! They are not late taking them down, they are early for next year!

Wherever you fall in the list of celebrations, the Christmas holiday and season is coming to a close. But it doesn’t have to end. It doesn’t have to end at all! You truly can celebrate Christmas every day, 24 hours a day!

When Isaiah prophesied about the birth of our Lord so many years ago in Isaiah 9:6, he didn’t see ahead and know that this verse would be relegated to Christmas. Yes, it is good we quote it at Christmas! But it isn’t just for this season, it is for all time and all seasons!

What you feel at Christmas can be felt the whole year through!

“I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 1-:10,11.

Now that the Christmas rush is over, the focus on the Christ child will dim, what do YOU have to keep YOUR focus on Him?

It’s all about Relationship and Communication! We must have daily conversation and devotion with Him to keep that flame alive.

If you have been doing extra things to focus on Jesus Christ these past few weeks leading up to Christmas, why stop now? Why not make those things priorities in your life and see if 2014 isn’t a better year for you all the way around? Why not focus more on those that do not have instead of getting more and more and more for YOU? You will be blessed.

Enjoy your families today. Blessings to our new followers!
